Back to School: The Hottest New After-School Activities
Opportunities to expose your child to new kinds of fun have diversified. Enriching classes that will make the grandparents scratch their heads in disbelief have certainly made their way to your town. While baseball and ballet still have a secure place in our after school rituals, consider these non-traditional new options.
Circus Arts
Best described as a close relative of gymnastics, a circus class provides instruction in acrobatics, or what some schools call aerial arts. Kids will bounce out their energy on the trampoline, build physical strength and develop expert coordination with moving objects. Even preschoolers can get into the “ring” with exposure to hoops and balancing balls. A weekly session could be perfect for your class clown.
